etnownews.com-Delhi-NCR to get a new city? UP govt has an update
The Uttar Pradesh government has officially approved the master plan for New Noida, set to transform 80 villages across Dadri and Bulandshahr into a sprawling industrial hub. This area will now be known as the Dadri-Noida-Ghaziabad Investment Region (DNGIR), the announcement was made through the Invest UP Twitter handle.
The tweet reads, “The Uttar Pradesh government has approved the master plan for New Noida, to be developed across 80 villages in Dadri and Bulandshahr, named the Dadri-Noida-Ghaziabad Investment Region (DNGIR).”
The talks of setting up New Noida started last year, Economic Times (ET) reported that New Noida will cover an extensive 20,000 hectares and the region’s development follows the approval of the Master Plan-2041 by both the Industrial Development Authority and Noida Authority. The new city is envisioned to emulate urban planning models in Chicago, the US, and several European cities.
