Despite some concerns, India’s real estate market remains robust, according to Niranjan Hiranandani, Chairman of Hiranandani Group, and Gulam Zia, Senior Executive Director at Knight Frank India.

 

Hiranandani dismissed worries of a slowdown, stating, “I don’t see a reduction in interest in the real estate market at all.” He noted that enquiries and sales remain steady, except in the affordable housing segment (homes priced under ₹50 lakh), which he sees as a major challenge. “Affordable housing is a very big challenge,” he emphasised.
