Real estate players are banking on Gudi Padwa to further push home sales in the city, following significant improvement in housing sales between Jan and March this year. Two industry estimates suggest that around 12,000-19,000 units were sold in the city in the Jan-March period. “Gudi Padwa is one of the auspicious occasions, which is why homebuyers scurry to finalise their deals on this day,” Sachin Bhandari, chairman and CEO of VTP Realty, said.
