Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu announced on Friday that the development works for Amaravati, the state's capital, will resume with a substantial investment of Rs 50,000 cr.

 

At the inauguration of the NAREDCO Property Show in Guntur, Naidu revealed that a new 183 km ring road will be built around Amaravati, surpassing Hyderabad's Outer Ring Road in scale. "Once this project is completed, Guntur and Amaravati will merge into a unified urban zone," Naidu stated. He also emphasized that Amaravati would be developed as a self-sustaining city and a model for the country.
