The government of Andhra Pradesh has sanctioned Rs 2,723 crore for road infrastructure in Amaravati, the state’s greenfield capital. The funds will be used for the construction of layout roads in Zones 7 and 10 of the city, according to Municipal Minister P Narayana.
The Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) has approved funding of Rs 47,288 crore for the development of Amaravati, according to the Minister. He assured that the remaining developmental works will be approved within the month. To finance the capital’s development, a repayment plan has been outlined.
